What inspired you to start your influencer journey?
I’ve always wanted to start but I didn’t get the chance to take the first step because i used to work at the hospitality industry and it takes so much of my time. 2 years into real estate the pandemic happened. My best friend just started his youtube channel and since we were spending lockdown in their place, we have free time. I figured why not start now? I live in the best city in the world, I love dressing up well and I love designing my home. It would be amazing to share it to others who shares the same taste as mine. Fast forward to today, I am still sharing the things that I love and I am able to build an amazing community!
Can you tell us a little bit about your background and how you ended up in NYC?
I am a Filipina born and raised in Manila, Philippines. I speak fluent in Tagalog. I moved to NYC 6 years ago with the dream of becoming a real estate agent. I am proud to say that I am able to fulfill that dream and I am one of my firm’s top producers here in Manhattan.
How do you balance your life in the city with your passion for real estate and content creation?
I have been a firm believer of setting up systems. It’s so hard to balance it in the beginning as being a content creator is a lot of work. I kinda think it’s harder than real estate. Haha! But as soon as I have a system in place everything was running smoothly. I set aside a time of my day for content creation and another half for real estate. I am lucky that in real estate I have the freedom of time and I don’t have to be at the office for 8 hours straight. I’m in charge to where I want to spend my time. That flexibility gave me the consistency to create content.
Can you tell us more about your style & love for neutrals?
I love timeless style and elevated basics. I invest in a capsule wardrobe that has versatility and longevity. Neutral colors and classic silhouettes to me exudes a polished, sophisticated and effortless look. Ever since I was young, I’ve always been drawn into these colors and my friends will ask me if I have other colors in my closet other than neutral ones. Haha! My home is minimal and neutral. It gives me the peace and relaxation that I need after a long day at work.
Can you share a favorite memory or experience that you've had in the city?
I’ll always remember the first time I set foot in NYC, I knew right away that this is the city for me. The bustling lights, the fast pace of life, the charm of the neighborhoods, diversity and food. As cliche as it may sound, I felt that I can do anything here and be successful as long as I do the work.
What are your hobbies?
I love to eat and try new restaurants in the city. I also love to watch movies and series. Read books and travel. I love an elevated, exclusive travel experience while exploring new cities and immersing myself in the culture.
What message do you have for anyone thinking of moving to New York?
Be prepared. The city can be challenging but its worth it.
